Cembrit RU functional boards provide a strong, sturdy under-roof that is ideal for use in roofs exposed to widely varying weather conditions. These fibre-cement boards effectivelyprotect both the insulation underneath and the roof structure as a whole against the effects of driving rain and drifting snow. They also help limit any noise problemscaused by strong winds.
The structure of the fibre cement in these boards enables moisture from inside the building to pass through. This means they can be used on both ventilated and nonventilated roofs, with the added advantage of being inflammable and resistant to rot and mould.
