Cembrit a.s., being one of the most important companies in the region, has decided to suport the social project Different Coffee. Thank to the sponsorship of Cembrit a.s., and of other companies and institutions, the Beroun based café called Different Coffee gained a Renault Kangoo, which will surely do it a lot of good service in supplying the coffee-house.
The project called Different Coffee, which recently celebrated it's second anniversary, is realised by the nonprofit organisation Lomikámen. In the premises of a previous casern in Beroun was in the spring of 2008 opened a very nice and modern coffee-house. Except for good food and drinks, it offers also nutrition for the soul: concerts, traveller's meetings, and projections of alternative films. At the same time, the coffee-house is a safe space for social therapy. Disadvantaged people work in the Different Coffee as waiters, cooks or cleaning staff, and during their employment in the coffee-house, they re-gain important social and working competences.
We are very happy, that projects like the Different Coffee flourish in our region, and that we can contribute to their success. We wish the Different Coffe, it's clients and it's visitors all the best.
